The Florida Panthers are heading back to the Stanley Cup Finals after a 5-3 win over the Carolina Hurricanes in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals. They were down 0-2 early from two goals by Sebastian Aho, but scored three in quick succession. Carter Verhaeghe scored the game winning goal after Seth Jarvis tied the game in the third, the dagger to end the series. Tonight, we'll see if Edmonton can join them.
The Oilers will have to return to the Finals without Zach Hyman, who is done for the season.
Knoblauch says Hyman season is most likely done he’s getting surgery today and they don’t expect to see him back gor a while.

The London Knights play in the Memorial Cup semifinals on Friday night against the Moncton Wildcats.

Unfortunately for the Wildcats, the game was overshadowed by the sudden death of a family member. Taylor MacDougall is the GM of the team, his father Gardiner is the head coach. They and the whole team are mourning the loss of Taylor's father-in-law, Patrick Buckley.

On the London Knights side, a depth player who has a habit of getting suspended is... you guessed it... suspended.
London forward Ryder Boulton has been suspended one game, and the London Knights have been fined $2,000 for a warmup violation Tuesday night.

The Medicine Hat Tigers have been fined $1,000 for a warmup violation prior to the same game. #MemorialCup

The Tampa Bay Lightning have lost Stacy Roest from their front office. He was the GM of the Syracuse Crunch and head of player development. Rumour has it he's going to the New York Islanders.
